After her husband’s suicide, 55-year-old Lorna Marwa fights to reclaim her life on the dusty expanses of Kenya’s volatile ranch land.

Lorna Marwa (55, Black) is resurrected by the sound of her husband shooting himself in the head. She swiftly erases his suicide and then starts to reclaim her life. However, she must take on the anger lodged in her bosom for over half a century. Unfortunately, when she confronts this fury, she loses. The rage takes over and deforms her into an oppressor, a tyrant who dispossesses, who takes the land and the mineral of the Maasai, a people still reeling from a colonial land grab. It would have been better if she had never resurrected at all.
