Our films have had a busy month on the festival circuit.
Matabeleland (Directed by Nyasha Kadandara)
The film recently completed its German premiere at DOK.fest München. Screened between May 9th and May 15th, Matabeleland was featured in the DOK.horizonte – Cinema of Urgency competition, a section dedicated to stories of social transition.
We're grateful to the festival organizers and to the audiences in Munich who came out to engage with the film and its history.
One Last Order
The documentary has secured several major festival selections for the upcoming months, expanding its reach across the US, Europe, and Africa.
- Nantucket Film Festival (USA): The film has been officially selected for the lineup taking place from June 17–22. Full programming and ticketing schedules will be available soon.
- Odense Film Festival (Denmark): Marking its European premiere, One Last Order has been selected for the International Documentary Competition at OFF, running from August 24–30. Out of more than 4,000 global submissions, our film was one of only 164 projects selected for this Oscar-qualifying festival.
- Encounters South African International Documentary Festival: This June, the film will make its continental premiere at the 28th edition of Encounters. This is a significant milestone as it marks the first time the film will screen for an audience on the African continent.

Homecoming Screening Update: The scheduled homecoming screening at Bo Diddley Plaza in Gainesville, Florida, had to be postponed due to local tornado warnings and city safety regulations. While the weather disrupted our plans, the safety of the community comes first. We are working on a rescheduled date, which we will share as soon as it is locked in.
