This powerful project, directed by Asmahan Bkerat and produced by Bkerat and Ban Maraqa, explores the struggles of a Palestinian Bedouin family grappling with preserving their traditional way of life amidst modern encroachment and growing uncertainties about their future. LBx Africa is proud to be a co-producer, with Sam Soko contributing his expertise to the film.
Concrete Land is a collaboration between Jordan and Kenya, and being part of the IDFA Forum, was a vital step in securing international partnerships and support for this impactful documentary. The Forum brings together filmmakers, producers, funds, and key industry players through public presentations, one-on-one meetings, and networking sessions, helping projects like Concrete Land gain momentum.
We’re excited about what this opportunity means for the project and look forward to sharing more updates soon!
