It’s such a full-circle moment to be back at HotDocs Forum, this time with Director, Nyasha Kadandara to pitch for the film, Matabeleland.

The HotDocs Forum will always be a nostalgic part of our journey. Back in 2018, Director, Sam Soko and Producer, Toni Kamau pitched Softie the Film for the first time at the forum. In many ways, we were underdogs, pitching as first-time documentary feature filmmakers but we stayed true to ourselves and Softie scooped the Cuban Hat Award.

This year’s forum is scheduled for April 28^th to May 8^th. We send best wishes to Nyasha and the team as they prepare.
