An exciting addition from LBx Africa at the Durban Filmmart was ‘What’s Eating My Mind’ (WEMM) by Director, Noella Luka and Producer, Sam Soko. WEMM was part of the forum courtesy of the Hot Docs Blue Ice Fund Fellows.

Earlier this year, the film was one of 8 films to receive the Hot Docs 2021 Blue Ice Fund. The fund is created to help enable more African documentary filmmakers to tell their own stories and contribute to the African documentary community’s next generation.

Hot Docs Blue Ice Fund has also partnered with Durban Filmmart and fellows are invited to participate in the DFM forum meetings.
